Do a barell roll. I forgot about Batman. crime would be lowered exponentially. But do you think Batman would run a democracy or a monarchy? He's basically a loner, except for Robin. I still think he would run a democracy because he wants crime to disappear, and in The Dark Knight Returns, he recruits the Sons of Batman to help him. So he knows he can't go it alone.

OMG I forgot Batman too! I agree I think he would run a democracy because he is just trying to make this a better and safer place to live. Besides if it was a democracy who is going to vote against Batman? I mean seriously! He also could "persuade" people into voting for him. It would be quite the campaign. Plus if it is a monarchy who is he going to pass his power to when he dies?

He would pass it on to Dick Grayson, the original Robin. Not Jason Todd, because he became the Red Hood, a villain. And the only person who would run against Batman would be Superman. And if you think Superman wins, check out The Dark Knight Returns Final Battle on Youtube.

If Batman and Superman were playing rock, paper, scissors Batman would win ALWAYS. Because when Batman throws rock if he throws kryptonite as his rock he would always win. There is no way Superman would win he isn't even rich! He wouldn't have the money for a good campaign. Plus if Batman runs and a rich and famous man such as, oh I don't know, Bruce Wayne were to support Batman that would be a huge deal and get Batman supporters. If Carl Kent says he supports Superman no one is going to care.

Well, in The Dark Knight Returns, everyone knows that Clark is Superman. And in literally every fight between the two of them, Batman always wins. There was a Kryptonite arrow in one version. Also, fantastic Rock Paper Scissors analogy. But what if Batman had to go up against Bane in an election?

That's hard. I don't know. Bane could scare everyone into voting for him, but Batman could assure the citizens that he would protect them from Bane. Then again they all know what Bane did to Batman last time they fought.

The thing about Bane is that he wasn't the genius we thought he was because it was Talia Al Ghul that did all the scheming.

Good point. Bane probably couldn't even set up his own campaign. Even if he did it wouldn't be very strong. As soon as Batman/Bruce Wayne made the point you just did Bane would have no chance because everyone would know he couldn't do anything on his own. Even if he threatened the citizens he can't create a plan strong enough to take over Gotham without an ally. Even if he could create a plan without one, he would need followers to execute that plan. None of that would be able to happen without someone noticing and as soon as they did Batman would be notified. One the citizens of Gotham realized Bane can't do anything on his own they would have nothing to fear, and if they did, Batman would still be guaranteed to win because people would feel that he would protect them.

But he still broke his back! Also, he does have the Legion of Doom to rely on. With your point on how his campaign could be strong, remember, in The Dark Knight Rises, Batman truly never defeated Bane. Bane was about to kill him when Anne Hathaway's Catwoman crashed through the wall and shot him with the Bat-Pod's guns. Yeah, the League of Shadows wouldn't follow him after he failed. And if we're talking Christopher Nolan Batman continuity, Bane's dead. So, yeah, that's a problem for him.
